Sirkku and the children, along with a half a dozen other Finnish (or Finnish-related) families, went to Mikumi National Park last weekend. They spotted the simba. Benjamin and Daniella loved it. They played a game that whoever spotted a giraffe shouted: “Hip hurray!” Daniella came back home chanting: “hippuai-hippuai-hippuai…”. It was cute.
Sirkku ja lapset, ja puolitusinaa muuta suomalaista perhettä, kävivät viime viikonloppuna Mikumin luonnonpuistossa. Leijona bongattiin. Benjamin ja Daniella olivat innoissaan. He leikkivät leikkiä, että aina kun joka näki kirahvin hän sai huutaa: “Hip hurraa!” Daniella tuli kotiin hokien: “hippuai-hippaui-hippuai…”. Se oli suloista.
hehehe, maybe they can continue the game in Finland. Whoever sees macgyver sitting in the kitchen waiting for more food, say hip hurray! the real prize comes from anyone, yes anyone, that spots slippers in the house when there are more than 2 people visiting! Can’t wait to see you all, soon.
