We thought Benjamin had Chicken Pox last summer (check a post from June 2007 to verify), but we were wrong. We thought he had it easy, but we were wrong. Dots all over, lots of itching and scratching, and plenty of sleepless hours and crying for the whole family. Poor boy. He is not happy at all at all the “dudus” (bugs) that keep biting him. At least thats how he sees it. We tried to explain Chicken Pox to him, but he seems to prefer his version of the dudu bites.
Me luulimme, että Benjamin oli jo sairastanut vesirokon viime kesänä (katso postaus kesäkuulta 2007), mutta me olimme väärässä. Me luulimme, että hän pääsi aika helpolla vesirokon kanssa, mutta me olimme väärässä. Näppylöitä ihan kaikkialla, paljon kutinaa ja raapimista ja roppakaupalla unettomia tunteja ja itkua koko perheelle. Poika raukka. Hän ei ole ollenkaan iloinen niistä “duduista” (ötökät), jotka jatkuvasti häntä purevat. Näin hän asian näkee. Yritimme selittää hänelle vesirokosta, mtta hän tuntuu nauttivat omasta näkemyksestään enemmän.

Heh, what looks bad? The dots or the haircut? Joo, hiukset on lähtenyt, mutta muutaman korjausleikkauksen jälkeen ei näytä enään lähekään niin pahalta. Tai sitten silmä on vain jo tottunut siihen. Like you said: “Poor kid.”
It takes about 2 weeks of incubation before it hits the next person…..anyone else sick with the pox? Say the princess or…the royal monkey? How is the queen fairing with the poor paupers and extra work? Or is that the reason the royal monkey is so tired?
Seriously, you have our condolences and prayers. Its alot of extra work, on top of extra work, getting sick in Africa.
Isi/Vaari will be seeing you soon. We have picked up the things you need, Sirkku, did you get the new addition of Kaksplus? I might have gotten it. I will send it along with the courier.

the dots look bad not the hair. the hair is a USMC miltiray style haircut. you’re not spose to see hair underneath the cap or hat or whatever…. 0mm alkaen kerrostettua.

Inhottavia duduja, voi Benjy parka, ja kuten kirjoititte, te vanhemmat myös. Joku “seitikkikin” näyttää kasvavan jonkun jaloissa siinä Benjyn ympärillä

Benjyn hiukset tummui tosi paljon leikkaamisen jälkeen. Ne päällä olevat haituvat piti sen vaalean näkösenä. Nyt on Benjy terve (vähän arvilla) mutta Daniella on vesirokossa! Ei pitänyt näin pieneen tarttua…
