Time flies. It is now half way through September. August was a busy month for us. We moved houses twice and travelled through the country. This (and the non existence of internet connection) might explain the silence which has lately taken place in our blog.
We had the opportunity to travel for two weeks across Tanzania (Arusha-Mwanza- Shinyanga-Tazengwa-Singida-Tanga-Dar es Salaam). The purpose of the trip was to visit the youth centers of our youth empowerment programme. Our friend Aki from Oulu was travelling with us and he was in charge of holding computer and music equipment training. While touring the centers, we also had the chance to enjoy Tanzanian wildlife in Serengeti and Ngorongoro. All together we travelled for 3600km on rough roads. At the moment our car is in desperate need of maintenance.
The nine months of living out of suitcases has now come to an end. In the beginning of this month, we were finally able to move into our own house. Due to various reasons (eg. Danny’s language studies and work trips) we have not had the time to arrange our house as much as we would have hoped to. However, it is a nice feeling to wake up at home and experience normal family routines (if this counts as such).

Ihana idea tämä blogi, kiva nähdä teistä kuvia.:) Ajattelin ilmoitella teille että meille syntyi ihana pikkuinen poika 1.9.!
Painoa oli silloin 2800 g ja pituutta 50 cm. Nyt poitsu on jo vankistunu mukavasti ja kasvanu vähän muutenkin! Nimeksi tulee Jonatan. 
Elämä on nyt vauva-arkeen totuttelua, you what I mean!
Kyllä on teiän Benjy niin iso jo, just oli puhe Elinan kanssa siitä eilen. Muutenkin näytätte voivan ihan hyvin ja päässeenne jo jälleen kokemaan Afrikan todellisuutta (ie renkaan puhkeamista in the middle of nowhere). Oikeen mukavaa syksyn alkua sinne teille (mikäköhän vuodenaika teillä on, I have no idea?) ja voimia työhön jota teette!

I love the pictures! It is wonderful to see you all and to follow how much Benjy grows in a short time. I wish I was closer so I could babysit like a good gramma!!
I sent you a copy of the magazine with Cathy’s pictures in it. Today, the 27th of Sept., let’s see how long it takes to get to you. It is a wierd feeling writing an ol’ fashion letter these days…oh yeah, I put a small on in the package too.
